An invitation to voyage

Be guided inside the exhibition Signac, The coulours of water.
The exhibition is a true voyage flowing through the artist’s sublime landscapes of Brittany, French and overseas ports, and the Seine river banks. Particular attention is given to his paintings of the south and Mediterranean: Cassis, Avignon, Saint-Tropez, Venice and Constantinople.
Master of Neo-impressionism and passionnated sailor, Signac depicts in many different styles the beauty of the sea and the changing colours of the atmosphere.

46 works from the exhibition are described, it’s a real occasion to discover the painter and his fascinating talent.

An unsual conservation work
Follow the unique conservation of the four panels made by Signac when he was 37, with an exclusive interview of the conservator.
